In case you didn’t know…

Brock Lesnar is only working a limited schedule and he hasn’t been slated for Elimination Chamber because the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas’ website didn’t list The Beast Incarnate as scheduled to appear on the show. Lesnar still isn’t listed, but Dean Ambrose sure is so it just might not have been updated.

We’ve heard that Ambrose’s injury made WWE change up some big things and perhaps the Elimination Chamber was one of them.

Heart of the matter

Not only does this image show Braun Strowman standing in the centre of this pack of top-notch performers, but it also features Big Cass. If Cass’ injury after SummerSlam is already healed up enough for a Royal Rumble debut, then that could be great timing and you can’t teach that.

Another interesting addition is Cesaro in this main event slot. Since Seth Rollins is nowhere to be seen, he could be busy with Jason Jordan elsewhere on the card, but the Celtic Warrior’s involvement is still a matter of question on that one.

What’s next?

If you read this advertisement correctly, it looks like Braun Strowman could very well defeat Kane at Royal Rumble as Lesnar is too late to stop him allowing the former Wyatt Family member to walk away from Philadelphia with the WWE Universal Championship.

Brock Lesnar could always build toward Elimination Chamber and win the title back before an already planned main event at WrestleMania 34 against Roman Reigns. But who knows at this point?

Author’s take

This is a very interesting turn of events, that’s for sure. If Braun Strowman becomes Universal Champion, then he’ll have that notch in his belt and they could come up with some insane way to eliminate him in the Chamber match, so he could still keep his heat.

But if Dean Ambrose’s injury made WWE switch up plans as big as the Universal Title picture then they must have had something really big lined up for The Lunatic Fringe at the Show Of Shows this year.
