Shane McMahon and Stephanie McMahon are a real-life brother-sister duo, whose relationship as part of the McMahon family has been used in several on-screen storylines and gimmicks by the WWE.
The heart of the matter
Shane McMahon was cutting a promo, hyping up his WrestleMania match with AJ Styles, when a fan present at the arena shouted out – “Your sister is hot!” (In reference to Shane’s real-life sister and WWE authority figure Stephanie McMahon).
That, in turn, caused Shane O’Mac to briefly pause, after which he delivered the rest of his promo.

Shane O’Mac was in the ring with his Mania opponent AJ Styles and SmackDown General Manager Daniel Bryan, this was when a fan shouted out the one-liner causing the rest of the fans to erupt in laughter.
Nevertheless, the awkward moment was short-lived as Shane O’Mac, although momentarily perturbed, continued with his segment without acknowledging the man’s comment about his sister.
What’s next?
Shane McMahon will face AJ Styles in a singles matchup at WrestleMania 33 on April 2nd at The Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida.

Well, this isn’t the first time and most certainly wouldn’t be the last when a ‘fan’ mouths off against a celebrity, in this case, Stephanie McMahon. Truth be told - the unknown man was merely trying to get a rise out of Shane McMahon by passing a lewd comment on his sister.
Shane O’ Mac, on his part, handled the incident in the classiest way possible by refusing to acknowledge the fleeting comment. After all, he’s a McMahon and a McMahon always does - ‘What’s Best For Business!’
