In case you didn’t know…

Psicosis may be more well known for his time in WCW and AAA, but the luchador spent a year in WWE between 2005-2006 - debuting against Rey Mysterio at ECW One Night Stand.

Psicosis was an integral part of The Mexicools, riding a John Deere lawn mower - named the Mexican Limo 2005, brandishing a sticker saying Juan Deere - to the ring and attacking Chavo Guerrero and Paul London during a WWE Cruiserweight Championship match to make an immediate impact.

The faction defeated the likes of Blue World Order, FBI and The Dicks during their time before Psicosis and Super Crazy started to feud - who he inevitably lost his final WWE match to.

The heart of the matter

Former WWE Superstar Psicosis was involved in a car crash last night, and saved a man from drowning in a car that flipped off the highway.

CWE promoter Danny Duggan, who a passenger in the car, shared the details of what occurred on Facebook.

The promoter goes on to say they were driving behind a semi in extremely dangerous, wet conditions, stating that the car hit sheer ice which sent it spinning down the highway in the oncoming lane and into a steep ditch, avoiding a sign and rolling over.

From here I remember after the initial crash having a split second to realize we are not only upside down but fully in a body of water. Panic sets in as you are hurt, upside down, can’t get your seat belt off and have no idea how to escape.

Duggan continues, explaining the terrifying ordeal he endured.

But the promoter continues to say that Psicosis put pressure on his seat, allowing him to breathe and, inevitably, survive.

Duggan calls it “the most terrifying emotion” he has ever encountered.

Duggan escaped with a severe concussion, very severe and deep lacerations, cuts, and chunks of skin gone from his scalp, ear, legs and arms. Plus, his head is swollen and his hands are mangled. He’s also dealing with “a whole lot of pain” throughout his back and body. Psicosis managed to escape with only cuts and bruises.

What’s next?

A GoFundMe page has been launched to help Duggan purchase a new car.

We wish Psicosis, Danny Duggan and Robin Lekime all the best in their recovery.
