The match between these two superstars will be headlining one of the most popular annual pay-per-views in the WWE and it promises to be one hell of a battle. While Lesnar has already been around for almost 4 years since his return to the business, Goldberg will be competing in a WWE ring after a gap of 12 years.
In a recent interview with ESPN, ‘The Myth’ revealed that winning was not the motivation behind him agreeing to a match against ‘The Beast Incarnate’ at the Survivor Series. Instead, it is about bringing a smile to the faces of his wife and son.

The former WWE World Heavyweight champion was appreciative that the WWE gave him the opportunity to wrestle for the first time in front of his son and he feels that he might never be able to repay them. Goldberg was quoted in the ESPN interview as saying:
At the end of the day, if I come away with nothing other than the smiles on my wife and son’s face, I’m Santa Claus … or Hanukkah Harry,” stated Goldberg.
Talking about the minor lapse that he suffered in the ring a few weeks back when he was trying to drive his knee into Rusev, he claimed that he let himself down as he failed to match the high standards that he always sets for himself. He said:
To be able to be given this opportunity – originally by 2K and now by WWE – to come back and be that guy, I could never repay them as far as my appreciation.
I’m the coolest dad in the world, and they gave me the opportunity to do that.”
